The 2014 MDRT Annual Meeting was held in Toronto, Canada, and was attended by more than 9,000 financial advisers from around the globe. The conference distinguished itself by the willingness of its speakers and its participants to share the benefits of their experience and expertise with their peers.
Delegates were presented with a huge variety of sessions they could attend, in a range of very different settings. These extended from main platform presentations to the full delegation of 9,000, to focus sessions where audience numbers ranged from less than one hundred to more than a thousand, through to more intimate ‘ConneXion Zone’ presentations, which were delivered to smaller groups, but which offered greater opportunities for interaction between speaker and delegate.
The subject matter was vast, affording delegates the chance to target those topics or themes that suited their own agenda, and from which they had the opportunity to take back many useful thoughts, approaches, ideas, tips and recommendations to help them build and re-shape their business and personal lives.
Next years’ MDRT Annual Meeting returns to New Orleans for the first time since the city and surrounding areas was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Click here to access current qualifying levels for Australian MDRT membership.
