The AFA’s 2016 Genxt Connect Tour, run in February, issued a challenge to all advisers relating to their continued relevance in a changing consumer environment.
Delivered in both theoretical and practical settings, presenters asked all advisers (not just those new to the advice sector) to re-examine their business and their advice proposition and, if merited, consider re-engineering and re-creating their business and their client relationships.
Consistent messages across the roadshow events included the need for advisers to appreciate how their community is changing around them, and the impact this will have in terms of how they can and will add value for their clients in future.
